| - From the moment I called for a consult and spoke with the lovely Bri all the way to the moment I had my steri strips removed with the kind Maricella (sp?), it's been an amazing experience..
The front desk ladies are welcoming and greet you with a smile every time you enter the office..
Bri is who I sat down with to start my process.. Bri is so warm and sweet and makes you feel like part of the family... She knows her stuff and provides you with ALL the information needed to feel comfortable with your decision.. She went over and beyond, calling me to schedule a consult sooner than my initial one due to a cancellation.
I'll save Dr Cohen for last..
Anesthesiologist (forgot her name, sorry), we'll call her Dr calming. Dr calming walked in and immediately she came with a peaceful presence. I had been very nervous about surgery for the last few weeks.. Dr calming kneeled down to my level, as I was seated, and she spoke to me in a soft kind voice. Her voice alone calmed me down. She was funny too and said , while sticking me for my I.v " if I hurt you, just punch me". That made me laugh. The I.v didn't hurt at all. She did it perfectly.
Second nurse (forgot her name, sorry), we'll call her sister nurse because I felt like she treated me as if I was her sister. Sister nurse took me from the sitting room to the op room. She was warm and friendly like everybody else. Sister nurse was nurturing and explained step by step what the process would be.
Dr Cohen; he should get an entire page of his own for this review. Dr Cohen from the get go has been so wonderful. From the consultation to the day after post op. He spent a lot of time with me explaining everything. Everything! At the end of the long much needed consult he asked if I had any questions and I did not. He was and is very thorough. I had seen another plastic surgeon prior to Dr Cohen in Scottsdale. Although she is an amazing surgeon I couldn't help but feel rushed. Dr Cohen made me feel as if I had all the time in the world.
Prior to my operation I met with Dr Cohen again. He again explained what he was going to do or what he wished to do considering what I looked like once he got in. I had three options. Strattice, seri or fat grafting. All pretty pricey. Strattice being the most. I indicated to Dr Cohen to perform whatever procedure would work best for me. Saying that leaves a door open for major costs. I had already resigned myself to the idea I would have to get strattice with a lollipop maybe anchor lift incision. This was from my visit with the other plastic surgeon.
Dr Cohen had not indicated what he was going to do exactly when it came to the incision. I was extremely sad that I would have a vertical scar from nipple to crease but I accepted it.
The day after surgery I met with Dr Cohen again. Yes he is that concerned with his patients. He likes to see them the day after to make sure they are doing well. I have never experienced that with any surgeon. He took off my bandages and said I was healing great and looked great.
I came home and looked for myself. Oh my gosh I had no incision from nipple down! Dr Cohen did not need strattice, seri or grafting. Dr Cohen saved me 6k dollars. Plus he performed a miracle on my horribly damaged breasts. I had 3 breast augs prior to seeing Dr Cohen. My breasts were a mess. I had major tissue damage and they sagged terribly. I cried when I saw my beautiful perky symmetrical breasts. They looked photo shopped haha.
My breasts are perfect and I love them.
Dr Cohen is a perfectionist who has a heart for his patients, I never felt dismissed with my concerns as they were always addressed and discussed thoroughly.
