This hotel has provided a consistently LOW level of service-- weird bar space, lame workout facilities and horrible internet "service". The ONLY reason I ever stay here is that I like being downtown (vs the suburbs) and its within corporate policy.
On this particular visit, there's (long overdue!) Rehab/updating going on, which is fine-- but why won't hotels tell you that when you book online? Why do have to find out only on check-in? I tried the ice machine on my floor-- not working. Walked down to the next-- not even there. First world problems, I know, but set the appropriate expectations.
Never eaten here (praise be to Odin), but that's because I wouldn't trust the quality of the food. There IS a Heinen's a few blocks away, though, which is good.
