Stay away! We REALLY expected MUCH more at this high end property. Food was just ok, and DID NOT live up to the room prices at this establishment. They should be ashamed! But the REAL issue was the service. Not nearly enough staff on duty and those that were there were poorly trained. We sat down at 6:30 pm with the dining area not nearly full and still waited over an hour for our meal. Total time in the restaurant - 2 3/4 hours! We were given the wrong menus, but the error was not caught until AFTER we had ordered. When our meal was finally served we had no utensils to eat it with. When we asked for them they were not brought, so we had to get up and steal them from a nearby table. Nobody cared. Remember, this is the BILTMORE! Bus staff did not have a clue as to what they were there for - knocked things over and reached in front of us to clear the table. We ordered wine with our entrees and it did not arrive until we asked the Manager to bring it half way through our meal. Final insult was that the bill was wrong and had to be sent back for correction. The waiter then had the nerve to give us a littany of excuses as to why things went so wrong when he brought the incorrect bill. As I said, STAY AWAY.
