| - When I first started coming to this AMC, I was in college at ASU. Yes, I'm a Sun Devil. I've lived all over the country and I've been in many movie theaters, but AMC has remained my favorite chain.
Now that I am living in Ahwatukee, this theater is the most convenient. I tend to stay as close to home as possible during the week, so the location is ideal.
Matinees are reasonable, regular movie times are $10. Whoa. When did movies get so expensive in Arizona? I guess you can tell Date Night for me is infrequent.
In any case, on my most recent Date Night we went to see "Jeff, Who Lives at Home." It was actually quite good, save for the fact that there were several large streaks across the screen that were clearly not on the film itself. It was quite annoying, especially during times when there was a lot of sky in the picture and it was all I could do to not focus on the streaks.
We saw the movie in Theater 3, so try to avoid movies in that theater if possible for the time being. We told someone in customer service about it on our way out, but he did not seem overly concerned. Did we get offered anything for our subpar experience? Nope.
Snacks are expensive. Save your appetite for Pita Jungle next door. ;)
