I only come here for happy hours because I don't think the food is worth regular price. That being said, it's a lot better than many other sushi restaurants in the area (I've tried plenty). The place is tiny and it's always packed Friday and Saturday night with Midwestern students so if you're going in a big group, expect a long wait. It's usually just my bf and I so we just sit at the bar. One time, we saw a big group of his friends and they've been waiting for a table for 1.5hr+. They left in the end pretty upset because they've been regulars there for 2+ years yet they were completely ignored if the place is crowed. They've since moved on to another hangout.
The servers are great except for this one older asian lady. She's always very unfriendly to us and act like she couldn't care less. We've been going there for 3 years and it seems like she's a lot ruder to asian customers. I don't think I'll be coming back here anytime soon. It's too bad because we have a pretty good relationship with the sushi chef.
