I like the hours, customer service, and expertise at this vet clinic-hospital. I have a Feline HIV+ and I-FLUTD male orange tabby STREET CAT that adopted me less than a year ago. He's been to Alta Vista about a dozen plus times, and I have learned a lot from each visit. I can take care of him better because of the staff's guidance. They are prompt at returning calls...unlike some human clinic-hospitals I've dealt with. It is a discount vet clinic, so if you're a walk-in, you may have to wait in the lobby a long time. What's your time worth to you? It's going to cost you one way or another: which do you have more of, money or time?
UPDATE: 02/05/2016: Leo had another surgery this week, and I continue to be impressed with Dr. Hendrix's care and concern about the long-term health of my cat, Leo. I also appreciate that this clinic is a discounted clinic. For example, Leo's 1st surgery here (July) was $2K total but at a cat clinic in Scottsdale the estimate was $5K.
UPDATE: 3/27/2016: I had another high priority appointment w/ Dr. Hendrix and am impressed with his care and concern for both me and Leo. Our fingers are crossed that this will be the last surgery for my miracle cat.
