  • At Cleveland's Rental Car office, I waived Budget's car insurance. Then I was charged for it. "And I can't help you with that," said the Budget representative, six days later, over the phone. That is the end of Budget for me. And, by the way, when a Budget representative in Cleveland tells you there are no nearby gas stations that are open in the early a.m. - the time I was returning the car - and that anything less than a full tank will be charged at $9.80 a gallon, don't bite when Budget offers to sell you a full tank of gas. There is a Circle K half-a-mile away from the rental car center, and it is open 24 hours a day.
