My elderly parents contacted Gillece for an issue with their AC. They were told it needed to be replaced with a $10,000 unit, which they could purchase that day for $6,000. In their eighties, on a fixed income, that was not an option for them. They paid the company an exorbitant service fee and respectfully declined. We called Gillece and complained that their sales tactics mirrored "bait and switch", and to express our belief that their presentation was predatory. Their response was that my parents must be "confused". Since then, another AC company took a look, cleaned up the unit, and it is working fine. Their service fee was fair and the result favorable. I would not give this company any stars, except the system requires at least one star to post.
