  • This was the very first Cirque du Soleil performance that I have had the chance to see and I can say right off the bat that I loved it! This show was playing at the MGM and my family decided to go as part of a birthday present for my brother (my mom's idea). She decided to go all out and get the best seats possible so we were first row! I could feel the heat from the fire gushing out of their fire gushing effects. I felt like I almost could fall over the edge! Anyway, the show was wonderful. The story line was good and the show was filled with martial arts inspired acrobatics with a lot of visual stunts and crazy "fight" scenes. I loved every minute of it and it made me want to watch all the Cirque du Soleil. Sitting THAT close isn't necessary. I would've loved sitting a couple more rows back so that it would be easier to take the whole stage in. Oh and pictures are definitely not allowed but they do take pictures of families/individuals/couples before the show that you can purchase after the show if you want. Reminded of a ride at Disneyland... lol
