I have been seeing my psychiatrist, Dr Del Rosario, for at least 5
+ years. He is thoughtful and receptive and I have nothing but high praise for him. That said, he is a little timid with my prescriptions, erring on the side of caution instead of increasing my dosages so that they can truly help me. At my next appointment I will air my complaints to him and if he refuses to budge I will then look elsewhere. Reading the comments that other Yelpers wrote about the staff and the waiting room surprised me...dirty? really? I know the staff is overworked simply because there are too many doctors & patients and not enough staff members so they are clearly overworked but I've yet to experience this universally voiced rudeness. Maybe my standards are just too low....But everyone is correct about the atrocious wait times regardless of your appointment time. I've found the only way around that is to book an early morning appointment so that you are the first or 2nd patient to be seen. It's the tardiness of other patients that make the wait times so crazy. So to summarize: I give Dr Del Rosario a big thumbs up (for now). Be patient with the staff, they really are just doing their best. Over&Out.
