| - Not all mobile detailing is the same..... let me tell you why.
A car is a huge investment, and living in the desert with the intense heat, taking care of the exterior and paint is a priority. I keep my car clean to avoid scratches and I wax it to keep it looking showroom new!
My last car...well I don't really like washing it at home but I did a couple of times. What I noticed our water is so hard it left spots as it was drying then i had to use a vinegar and water solution to remove them. Plus, I do not like the amount of water I had to use, I am very water conscious.
I NEVER use self serve drive thru car washes that have brushes, they scratch the paint! I don't even trust many of the places that "rinse" the car off first with a crew of cleaners for the interior. It seems to be hit or miss. I have used mobile places and that is also hit or miss. One place used dirty rags and it took forever for me to get the film off of me car.
I found Miguel through Facebook and saw that he was reserved to wash cars for a car show, I thought anyone who trusts a detailer for a car show has to be good and I gave him a call and glad I did! Now for the good stuff!
He uses filtered water to wash the car! This makes a huge difference, no residue! He used clean rags to wash the car, My car was so shiny afterwards I thought he waxed it, nope, it was the high end cleaner he uses. I have a white dog and there is always dog hair and I am constantly wiping it out, and vacuuming. I can never get ALL of the fur out of the carpet, well I noticed later there was NOT one dog hair in the carpet. I am not sure how he did it but my car was showroom clean. I had the basic wash and I cannot imagine what a VIP wash would be like!
