  • Awful place. Management, especially general manager, are all horribly rude and nasty towards customers. Terrible attitudes and genuine disdain for their fellow Canadians. Climate change denial, in this day and age, is disgusting. They claim, falsely, to have electric vehicle charging stations, but they're almost always all blocked by gas cars so that electric car drivers needing a charge can't use them. I emailed them and first they lied to me, saying they can't ticket cars on their lot. It's private property, of course they can--I emailed them the relevant bylaw. They suddenly changed their tune and told me they simply don't care about letting electric car drivers charge, they don't care about the environment, and I should shop elsewhere if I don't like it. Sadly a common attitude at many malls today, but at least Yorkdale is actually serious about charging for EVs, for one--a much more progressive mall. At the GM's advice I'll shop elsewhere from now on. Hope all of his tenants are happy with his work on their behalf.
