  • One of my favorite places to play as well as see shows in Madison. Great sound. Bartenders are cool without being pretentious. Funky Mondays with Clyde Stubblefield are always a blast and this is a much better venue for it than the last. Good beer selection as well as prices. The size of the place is great because it bridges a gap between bands you can only see playing house parties and non-club venues and the bigger venues around town. The Frequency has only been around for a couple of years but it already serves as part of the foundation of the Madison music scene. I hope it stays around forever.
