We spent a season and a half at Longevity in the 3/4 year old Hoppers class. Over this time, we've grown to love many of the coaches who are seriously just ANGELS with the kiddos. I don't know where they find the patience to round up the kids, but they do!
Overall, each class consists of warm ups and a few games... it all ends with the coveted belly stamps and a great big team cheer. This hour of fun is perfect for this age group (hel-lo nap time!). It doesn't teach them the game of soccer just yet (that's for the bigger kids), but it does help with listening and hand eye coordination. The only down side we experience was the constant in and out of kid's taking trial classes. I definitely see the need to offer this, but it almost became disruptive in some classes or the class sizes would become huge certain weeks.
Next season we will likely try outdoor 3v3 soccer, but Longevity was an excellent starting point.
