I am finishing up my 14-day free trial and will definitely be continuing to take classes going forward. I realized one major thing after my first class at Burn - I have not been working out before now. Before I suppose I was just lounging around a gym kind of poking at weights and leisurely jogging on a treadmill. But obviously nothing was being accomplished because I lost no weight, gained zero muscle, and definitely didn't feel workouts the next day. But after the first class here I couldn't feel my arms for probably three days. But don't let those first few days scare you away! Commit to a full two weeks. The inability to lift your arm above your shoulder will go away (no joke, couldn't get a coffee mug out of my kitchen cabinet the next day), but you will still always feel a burn! Each week they post the workouts and they truly give you a full-body workout during the course of the week. I've found that focusing on certain muscle groups each day motivates me to make sure I don't miss a class! Also, I definitely have to give a shout-out to one of the trainers, Chris. He works everyone very hard until the very end and I've never left his class feeling like I didn't get the most out of my 45 minutes. But he's still very nice and learns your name and always encourages you to work your hardest. Great trainers are definitely the biggest reason for deciding to continue taking classes! I have only taken 2 classes with Kyle so far and he was also very kind and gave a great workout. Also, best music for a workout. Finally exercise classes that listen to real music and not that Top 40 crap that makes you beg for the class to be over just to stop listening to the music. Trust me, good music makes a big difference.
Give it a chance! You won't be sorry you did.
