  • I'm from Tucson and visit PHX quite often. Always appreciated this shop for being one of the headiest shops around. However , on my last trip to phx, I called the shop on my way home looking for some nice American Quartz. They said they had xl Joel Halen troughs! Perfect except for the fact that this shop charges 170 before tax and the entire rest of the world charges 160 after tax and shipped to your door. I was willing to pay extra for tax so I could have the banger in hand . So I asked the manager to price check with the rest of the world and she denied me the $10 discount . I begged some more, told her I'm from out of town , loyal customer , yadada, whatever. she says "il call my boss /the owner and see what he says".... seriously? About the extra ten bucks that you guys are taxing me on? Anyways I never got a call back and just went home to Tucson and random as hell my OK local headshop got an order of halen troughs and was able to get TWO XL TROUGHS FOR 150 ea. Bought two because I was so pissed at HM for not giving me a measly ten bucks off a PRICE CHECK. Funny how I've gone out of my way to come to this headshop. My next Heady will def be purchased somewhere else, out of state even if I have to , not here ha!
