  • It's not so much me as it's Roenick. He's good. Or maybe it is me with the new skates I picked up at Just Hockey. The store has a decent selection of gear across the boards at seemingly reasonable prices, but more importantly, the staff really know what they're talking about - they actually play hockey. Imagine that! The salesman spent quite a bit of time with me going over what I should be looking for in a good fit as well as what had improved since my last skate purchase (a lot) and then left me to try on anything I wanted at my leisure. When I actually decided on a pair , he genuinely seemed interested in what I liked about the skate without trying to up-sell me on another pair. It was a surprisingly great experience. Now I'm playing like 4th stringer instead of a minor leaguer.
