I would love to say this is a great hotel but that would be a lie. We got a room that was not stocked fully with a mini bar, which wouldn't be a big deal, except we did not want to be charged for things we did not use. We talked to the front desk and they found over $300 that had been charged to our room. This was before house keeping had come and we had just checked in! There was no way to even create those charges without some employee charging the wrong room. The people helping us were not surprised and simply disregarded our concerns. They removed the charges. We later found out that there were a half dozen other couples that had the same problem with extra charges to their room! The line to check in/out is ALWAYS long and there are never enough people working to accommodate this. I would say use the kiosks, but then you can't see the extra charges on your room. Also, careful buying drinks at the pool bar, they add an extra $5 charge on top of tax and tip. We found this out at checkout, not from the bartender at the pool. The room was nice and had it not been for the charges and idiot employees, this would have been a decent hotel choice. Plan on adding at least 20 minutes to get around in the hotel before you get to an exit. I was stopped at least 5x per day for my ID even when I wasn't drinking or gambling. Yes, I am young and they are doing their job, but it was really excessive. It also smells really bad in the hallways because of all the perfume products from the shops near the palace tower. Also, you will NOT have a spot at the pool on weekends unless you reserve a chair/bed for $150 or more. So not worth it. Go during the week when it is less busy.
