****This is really important!!! The pool sucked!!! We went down there and it was all little kids. Personally I don't like to swim in a pool kids in diapers have been using as a training toilet. The pool was too small and it was over run. Ok we thought lets head over to the Planet Hollywood pool. We got in and went to check out the "Pleasure Pool" which is advertised as 18+ only. Ok we are walking up and there is a sign 18+ but sure enough this pool is also filled with kids. Not what a bunch of girls looking to sunbathe and relax want to see.
I liked this hotel I thought it was a good bargain. I got a deal off the Harrah's website for $111 a night for a king one bedroom suite. It was well worth the money.
The suite is huge you could sleep 10 or 12 people in it easily. It has a big old bath tub in the bedroom. The bath room is nice. The full kitchen is great. The microwave doubles as an oven and yes the washer and dryer are in one unit in the bathroom. The bed and couch are super comfy. It could be a total party room.
The check in was average to Vegas for me. I feel like if you are going to Vegas at peak times expect a long wait at check in.
The parking was very confusing at first. There are not many signs for the PH westgate but if you go down the stairs to the 3rd floor of the parking garage there is an entrance directly into the lobby, no need to drag your suit cases through the mall.
There was no information in the room about the hotel and its amenities or how to use the projector. You can look on the tv but it just tells you to call a number for info.
The room was not super clean. I could see hair and crumbs from previous guests. Overall our large group really enjoyed our stay... one thing we would have changed would be to book fewer suites because we definitely could have fit more people comfortably in each room.
I would recommend this place to my friend and over all I really liked it.
