  • I've been coming to this place for as long as I can remember. Service has always been excellent, coming from the many faces I see come and go behind that counter, with the employees pretty much knowing my order as soon as I walk in. They also would deliver promptly whenever I would order for delivery. I've tried nearly everything on the menu, but the dish I ALWAYS order is the Local Plate. Which could very well be their signature dish since it's one of the most common items ordered from the menu. Everything from the macaroni salad, to the spam musubi is top notch...whenever it's cooked properly. You see, Over the past 8 or so years I've been coming here, the food has mostly been superb. But it's not very consistent. There have been quiet a few times where the Rice is either soggy or hard. Or the beef is too dry. It's a shame since whenever they do it right, it's FANTASTIC. But the few times they get it wrong, it's downright horrid. I can understand that not every single meal can be cooked perfectly, but the slip ups happen a bit too often. They do a good job of keeping the place clean too. It's visually appealing as well. There hasn't been a time where I was disgusted with the interior or even exterior of the restaurant. They also have a karaoke bar connected to the dining area, which is separated by its own set of doors. This place will always be one of my favorite restaurants. Especially since the service is always excellent and the place is clean and eye catching. Overall, it's a great place to eat with good vibes all around. Just hope you catch the chef on a good day.
