| - Oh man the sugar rush you will have after drinking the fantastic shakes!!
Came by in the afternoon on a Teusday to a somewhat empty restaurant. We sat at the lounge and ordered the cookies & cream and A-chocalypse shakes, both of which are boozy shakes.
Our waitress Ashley was super sweet, friendly and attentive, yay!
We only ordered the two shakes and the restaurant across the dining area and lounge only had 3 groups . . . yet it took 20 minutes to get our shake while all the staff just stood around. It would have been a five star review if not for the unexpected and really unnecessary wait time.
anywho, the shakes came and OMG! These are MASSIVE! And so extravagant! (see pics!)
The A-Chocolypse Now shake was our less favorite of the two shakes. chocolate vodka with oreos, chocolate sauce, topped with a brownie, chocolate pocky stick, hershey bars, and the glass was coated in vanilla frosting and chocolate crunchies. The shake wasnt as boozy as the other, and not that chocolatey which we were hoping for. Very sweet, the brownie was decent, but overall nothing exciting.
The cookie & cream on the other hand killed it! That is where the four star review comes from! whipped cream vodka infused in the shake, mixed with chocolate chip and oreo cookies, topped with a GIANT Ice cream sandwich, coated in vanilla frosting and cookies!
This was very boozy, yet blended well with the shake, not too sweet, amazing flavor, the cookies offered a nice change in texture with the crunch, the ice cream sandwich was good but the entire thing was frozen - seems they freeze them all ahead and don't thaw out, so it was kind of a bummer. Overall, the favorite of the two!
Both shakes came with an additional cup/glass/whatever the metal container is called with the "leftover" shake that did not fit in the main shake glass. For $15 each, you definitely get what you pay for!
