| - This was the first time I've visited this spot and I wasn't disappointed. My boyfriend and I came for dinner tonight and we arrived about 10 minutes past our reservation time. Oops. No big deal though, the hostess was able to get us seated quickly. Then again it was a Wednesday night so it wasn't too crowded.
Service: Our server was extremely attentive without seeming pushy and annoying, perfect. We were also greeted by the manager which was nice and each person that stopped at our table to help was efficient and polite.
Ambiance: Perfect lighting, bathrooms were clean, almost ate shit in my heels because the floor was either just waxed or slippery as hell. Oh well. Noise level was perfect, not eerily silent but also not too loud.
Food: We both ordered the filet and lobster 3 course special and it really hit the spot. We started out with an amuse-bouch of scallop on a bed of something I don't remember and cherry tomatoes. It was delicious. Then I got the wedge salad, I should have gotten dressing on the side but I wasn't thinking at the time. Too much dressing freaks me out. Oops again. The main course came out shortly after and my steak was cooked perfectly to my order. My boyfriend's steak was a little undercooked but it was no big deal. Lobster was also fantastic, our server de shelled our lobsters for us. Perfect. I couldn't finish my steak but I did manage to snatch the rest of my boyfriend's lobster, yay! Then came the desert of my dreams. I had the deconstructed s'mores and it was to die for. The marshmallow was perfectly fluffy and with the scotch in the chocolate, it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. I would actually come back every day just to get this for my sweets fix.
Price: We had an amazing deal, but seriously, don't come here if you're not willing to put your wallet to work.
Overall, great service, ambiance, and food.
P.S. Writing this as I finish the rest of my s'mores.
