Luckily I live downtown right along the water so I didn't have to pay to watch the air show. My husband and I just enjoyed watching it at home on our balcony. I'm glad we live so close because I heard it was pretty pricey between the tickets, parking and the food/drinks.
The best part of the show to me is the jets! They were so loud and flew so close to our apartment it would shake! Talk about goose bumps and getting your adrenaline pumping just from watching them!
My only dislike about the airshow is its way to many days! I believe they practiced for 4-5 days and then the actual show was 3 days. That's almost a week of non stop loud planes flying over us. I only complain because my dog is deathly afraid of the airshow. She pretty much spent the entire week hiding in our bedroom closet panting and shaking like a leaf. I tried giving her melatonin and a thunder jacket, but nothing seemed to help because it was just too loud.
