| - The employees are very nice, but upon giving me the car, I noticed the tire had a low TPM alert on. I know these can be sketchy - any kind of custom wheel or even sometimes new tires can set off the tire pressure monitors.
However, the tire was very low - at about 12 when it should be around 35. The garage guy informed me - somewhat patronizingly - that the tire will expand when heated. Yes, but 12 to 35-40? I don't think that it expands that much. Anyways, they put air in the tire; given there were no other cars to choose from, and I had been waiting over an hour, I really needed to go, so I took this car.
I had this car for several weeks and I had to fill up the slow-leaking tire no less than 10 times at the gas station air pump.
On a few occasions, I could not use the car because the tire near completely flat; so then I had to figure out how to inflate it at various locations without air pumps. LOL
Needless to say, when you are already stressed about having your car totaled, plus injured from an accident, the last thing you want to think about is filling up your flat tire. ;-)
Again, employees nice - but car selection and giving me a car that clearly has a slow leaking tire was sort of a bummer. Thank you anyways.... I appreciate the help. :-)
