| - Dined here tonight. We arrived around 4 and had a reservation (read some Yelp reviews that it's a must!). Though the dining area was empty when we arrived. After half an hour, a couple more tables started coming. Our waiter, who was pleasant I must say, greeted us and started telling us about their daily special - which I didn't fully grasp (too hungry to listen). We stuck with the regular menu and ordered the Caprese Salad, Prosciutto with Melon, Chicken Pesto Pizza and Chicken and Mushroom Pasta. Waiter said they are out of Prosciutto with Melon so I opted for Beef Carpaccio instead. Food was delivered after about 15 minutes of waiting. Beforehand, the waitstaff gave us complimentary bread and butter to munch on. Our bread was a bit burnt. Nevertheless the water was filtered and doesn't have that tap taste. Anyway, food arrived and everything tasted decent. Nothing really popped out, nothing was too exquisite for me to have the urge to go back soon. Since we have a bit of room for dessert, we opted to try their Tiramisu. We ended up wishing we hadn't. I expected that dessert would really be savory and delectable since it is from a restaurant, but I seriously had better ones from the frozen aisles in grocery stores. Meh, maybe it's just me. Then again, I wasn't the only one who didn't find it spectacular. Nevertheless, I think I'll be back. My experience wasn't horrible, it just wasn't spectacular.
All in all, ambiance is romantic and intimate. Food is so-so. Service is decent. Solid 3 stars!
