It's not Hertz's fault, but it takes FOREVER to get from the airport over to the rental area. I actually live in Cleveland, and just needed a car for the night while mine was being repaired. The whole process probably took close to an hour, which was no bueno.
As a Gold member, I did get to go straight to my car - which was parked as far as possible from the bus drop off. Good to know what my membership gets me...
This lot was also really difficult to escape! I ended up doing a full loop around because I missed one turn. I had asked for directions from the Hertz exit-gate attendant, but to no avail.
The car was fine, no complaints there, so eh. A lot that was out of their control and I'm not sure any other Cleveland airport company could do better - but those excuses still don't bump them up from 3 stars.
