  • I bought the eyelash deal on groupon and was nervous about being too good to be true. I have never had eyelashes done before, but thought, for $40, it was worth a try. I read the other reviews on here and was even more nervous... which leads me to why I am writing this review... My experience from start to finish was fantastic. The appointment was easy to schedule and I received several reminders. This company changed locations from the time I booked to my appointment date, and I received ample updates and new directions. When I arrived for my appointment, Al was waiting for me with a big welcome. The shop was darling and I could tell Al took a lot of pride in it. The hot pink walls and black trim gave it a very girlie feel, which I loved. It was clean and simple. Al was very professional and gave me thorough directions and instructions as to what I should expect for optimal results. She kept asking me if I was comfortable, which I appreciated. The hardest part was keeping my eyes closed for 90 minutes, but I felt like I was talking to a girlfriend the whole time. Al was very professional yet friendly and the time flew. It was never uncomfortable, and actually kind of relaxing. When she was finished I was so happy with the results. I did not want overly fake looking lashes, and she did an amazing job on me. The lashes were beautiful and soft. I don't know if they were mink, and honestly I don't care... they are comfortable and natural looking. I have not had any fall out that I have noticed and I did mine last week. I would highly recommend Latoyes. Its a hidden jewel and I hope Al finds lots of success.. she certainly deserves it. She places a lot of value on making her customers happy. That means a lot these days! I hate to admit that I was nervous about the location, as I am not familiar with this part of town. Its not Scottsdale, but I felt welcome and valued, and I couldn't say that about many Scottsdale salons. I just hope you give her a chance because she deserves it! Thanks Al!
