| - If you plan on drinking all day, try to avoid skipping breakfast. It will help you survive the day. Moreover, you could possibly run into an awesome breakfast spot! Though I only spent a short amount of time in vegas, I can confidently say that Grand Lux was my best meal over the weekend and would not mind coming back at all.
Their breakfast includes an assortment of morning cocktails, omelets, pancakes/waffles, and even an all-you-can-eat buffet. Had I left enough room in my stomach from the night before, I surely would've opted for the the buffet. Instead, I decided upon Joe's Scramble (ground beef, onions, mushrooms, spinach, a side of hash browns, and toast).
"The menu says this thing is only $12 which means it is probably puny. I can make quick work of this."
Or so I thought. The waitress returned with a rather hefty plate of food. The eggs were packed with hearty chunks of mushrooms and onions and spinach, and ground beef. There was so much, I didn't even finish. Moreover, the scramble was pretty tasty! Eggs weren't watery at all, nor were they overcooked. The has browns were perfectly crisp on top and moist underneath. My only real gripe with the meal was that the toast was moist and flimsy. I was not a fan.
Still, it was a pretty solid meal and I would gladly pay the same amount for an omelet, even back home. I'm glad this was our closest breakfast option. If you're in the area and looking for a morning meal, check out Grand Lux Cafe!
