  • I'm definitely loyal to Elvallarta - they've been in Waxhaw as long as I have. I know Mexican is hard to screw up, but everything I've ever had has been good. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, made-to-order yummy margaritas that don't break the bank, all within walking distance of my house...what more do I need? Their service is usually very speedy and with reasonable prices, I can take the family out for a quick, economical meal that usually leaves me with 2nds (or 3rds) as leftovers. The outdoor seating is a nice option too. Just avoid on Cinco de Mayo when the place is PACKED.
