Let me start off by saying that I signed up for Yelp to write this review. I will probably not write any other review than this one, but I felt people needed to know my experience there. If I cpan help someone else then it was worth it I guess.
My dad goes to Dr. Halmi and he said that he was amazing so I figured I would make an appt. with someone over there.
I ended up getting an appt with a PA named Jessica (go figure, Halmi was booked a couple of month out). She was really young and I felt like she didn't know anything, she had to call in a doctor to finish the appt because she was too confused.
I feel bad because Dr. Halmi is actually really good but he's being lumped in with the rest of the practice, which is actually really bad. They wouldn't release my medical records to me when I tried to switch dermatologists and they made me go online, fill all this stuff out and eventually lost the papers and didn't give me anything. I actually had to drive out to the office and raise hell to get my papers.
They were very unaccommodating and rude. They didn't give their patients peace of mind and when i called in to further discuss my results of my biopsy, they were annoyed with my incessant questioning like I shouldn't be asking questions about my health. They made me feel really insignificant and uncomfortable asking about my health complications, they even made me cry. I'm not saying these people don't know what they are talking about, but they have really bad patient care. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. In fact, I would probably suggest you never go to any of their offices (unless you can be certain that you are seeing Dr. Halmi.)
