  • Love me a Half Price Books. This particular store is clean and organized and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The record selection here is pretty good. I usually go home with at least one new album and a couple oldies. And of course I enjoy browsing the bookshelves to see what's in stock. New bestsellers are sold at 20% off cover price, so that's rad. Ugh. But the parking lot. Oh the parking lot- Designed to incite road rage and anxiety in even the calmest of drivers. There are times that I've come to shop here and had to leave before going in because there is a loooong line of cars waiting for parking spots. Ain't nobody got time for that. I've sold back books here on several occasions. Doesn't matter if it's one box of books or three, my payout is always between $12 and $15.
