  • Ok. Five stars are insufficient. This place is fantastic. We just stopped in for an early dinner and were blown away. The service was exceptional - attentive, polite, suggestions at the ready - and the restaurant itself was delightful - modern, simple and elegant. We had the carbonara pasta and the Calabrisella pizza. The pasta was cooked perfectly - not over-cooked - and the guanciale (cured in-house) made it extra special. The pizza reminded me of a lighter, airier version of my mother's recipe. So good. We had dinner upstairs in the dinning room, and then espresso downstairs at the bar. The espresso was perfect, and served in proper thick cups. We got a budino and a baba to go, and I can't decide which was better... I think I'll have to try them once more to decide...
