I had just finish watching an amazing concert and I was looking for a place to dine-in on a Saturday night. I came here by accident and it's incredible seeing how this restaurant is very popular and busy. I was told the wait would be around 30 minutes and given that it's almost midnight, I opted for take-out. I ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice ($8.95), Vegetable Yaki Udon ($8.95) and Teriyaki Chicken ($12.95). Thankfully the wait wasn't long. It did take approximately 15 minutes for the food to be ready. Everything was sealed in a foil and the containers were packed well in a big paper bag, which I think is a major plus because nothing toppled over or spilled.
I'm actually quite impress with the distinct flavor of each order. The Kimchi Fried Rice, which is top with fried egg and sesame seeds, has an earthy and subtle spicy taste. I especially like the thick noodles and savory sauce from the Vegetable Yaki Udon. And the Teriyaki Chicken is nicely cooked, the meat is juicy and tender. Now the veggies that came with the Teriyaki Chicken are charred and crispy, and I wish there was more of it because I really like this texture. Also the meal includes a side of white rice and miso soup. Now I'm not able to eat certain seafood so I gave away the shrimp tempura. But I am definitely coming back to try other items on the menu. Hopefully I'll get to dine-in and have my dessert too.
