| - We wanted our 2 kids to have an adventure, so we brought them to the Rainforset Cafe. When we arrived, I went to the loo, and my husband ordered water for all of us. When I got to the table, our waiter came and took our order. I asked for a club soda with lime, ordered a burger without the bun, and asked about the shrimp scampi for a side, because I have a wheat allergy. We also asked for more forks, as our daughter had dropped 2. He got everything down and left. Minutes later, a manager came over and asked about my allergy. I was happy that they took it seriously. He told me there was gluten in the scampi butter. He said they could give me grilled shrimp with melted butter on the side. That sounded good so I went with that. Then, we waited, and waited, and waited. After about 15 min, our waiter came and asked how we were doing. I said fine, but could I please have my club soda. He went and got it and apologized profusely. Then, we waited and waited and waited. It was about a 40 minute wait before our food arrived. We still didn't have any forks. We asked for forks, ketchup, and I asked for my melted butter. He left and returned with forks, ketchup, and a dollop of cold butter in a side dish. I told him it was supposed to be melted but I'd just make do. We also asked for more napkins which never came. Not once were we offered refills on our water or club soda. It was like he didn't even try. It just wasn't worth it. We won't be eating there again.
