  • I chose to go to Slymann's Sandwich shop and when I saw the long line of locals outside the facility I knew I was at the right place. Unfortunately for me I don't like Corned Beef which is their specialty, I went for their 2nd best sandwich which is the Roast Beef. I ended up taking the monstrosity they call a sandwich "to go" and ate it as we rushed over to Progressive Field which is the home of the Indians. The sandwich meat was fresh and tasted similar in texture and the way it was cut to D'Allesandro's cheesteaks from Philly. I thought the sandwich was very good but I think the size of the sandwich is why people like it for the most part. I kind of regret not trying the corned beef even though I'm not a corned beef fan. The person taking my order gave me the same disappointed look the waitress from earlier in the trip gave me when I didn't take her advice.
