rev:text	Please note that this review is based solely on the thermal experience on a weekday evening, and not on the massage. I came here on a weekday evening hoping to avoid crowds and wind down with a friend on a cold winter's night. I was disappointed with the facilities, the "vibe" of the place, and the crowd. As for the facilities, they are sparse and small. Though things were clean, there weren't enough baths, saunas, and resting areas to justify the price or to cater to the clientèle, even if we had a weekday evening deal. I went in the dead of winter, and so I expected the outdoor heated pools to be extra soothing and warm, however, one of the two baths was not heated very well compared to the other. Perhaps it was an off night, but because it was crowded and there was a couple making out in the hotter pool, I stuck to the colder pool. The ambiance is attractive, but it looks more like a club lounge than a spa. Though the red colour of the decor is fun and fresh, it seems a little too visually stimulating. I prefer my spas to be adorned in soothing colours. The most annoying part was that the crowd consists of the stereotypical trashy South Shore variety. You know what I'm talking about... the Jersey Shore wannabes who speak too loud (it's a SPA, respect your space and speak softly!). To make it worse, there was a shady couple making out in the outdoor pool, which was very uncomfortable to be around! It's too bad the staff wasn't around to whip things into shape. Also, people were openly talking and laughing, which really detracted from the spa experience. Finally, because this spa is located next to Radio Lounge (a club), you can feel and sometimes here the vibrations of the club music (if you're there in the evening). Would I come back to SkySpa? Good question. I might, given the right conditions. The benefits are that it's closer to home, there's plenty of parking, and it could be fun to go to if it weren't for the crowd. My friend said that summertime is better at the spa because they have a nice garden on the roof, which helps hide the fact that you're at the dix30. If you're looking for a much better thermal spa experience, I'd urge you to try Balnea, which is a bit of a drive away, but is a much more satisfying and professional spa.
