What a horrible experience! The moment I walked in and told the lady at the front desk what I wanted done a few nail technicians walked by me and it seemed like they didn't want to do my nails. Weird right? Who gets those vibes? Eventually some guy came over and told me that he would be taking care me, so I walked over to the chair with him and sat. He told me I looked tired and it seemed like I had a bad day, which didn't make me feel any better because I had been having a terrible day... as he was removing the gel (with the drill tool) from my acrylic nails he kept looking over and talking to the man next to him who is doing another girls nails. I didn't think anything of it until he slipped and cut open the side of my finger then he's apologized and went back to talking. Moments later it happened again but worse this time. I pulled out my phone and took a picture immediately, then blood started pouring out all over the place. He just sat there and looked at my finger as it bled and he kept saying oh no this is not good, it's OK you're fine. I was in so much pain I started crying and I just sat there I had no idea what to do. He put some green stuff on my finger right away but it didn't help the pain, he told me it was a disinfectant. He went to continue to work on my nail while I was still bleeding profusely and I pulled my hand away from him and told him I was going to the bathroom. With tears streaming down my face I ran to the back and bumped into the manager who looked at me and said let me see your hand. It seemed as if he already knew what happened but didn't want to acknowledge it upfront where I was getting my nails done. He apologized and said that I would get my nails done for free. I just got engaged a week ago and now I'm going to have a scar on my hand for the rest of my life. I was going to take engagement pictures as well this week but I'm going to have to push that off due to the enormous scab I'm going to have. Anyways, I told the manager I did not want the same man doing my nails and he gave me to someone else to finish up. I called him to follow up the next day letting him know I was unsatisfied, and he told me to get in contact with a lawyer. He told me to send him pictures of my finger to his cell phone and that he will have someone contact me. What an outrageous experience. I've had my nails painted and filled for years and this has never happened to me! Please please please don't go here it's not worth the risk!
UPDATE: I've called Kelly a handful of times and every time I actually talk to her on the phone she tells me she needs to call me back.. but she never does. Great customer service......
