  • When people ask, "Where should I take my out of town guests," I always say the 7th Street Market. The vendors have something for everyone -- sushi, burgers, juice, coffee, crepes, pizza, sweets -- you name it. It does get crowded here during lunchtime on weekdays and pretty much all day on Saturdays and Sundays. It's worth the wait. If you have an after work event in Uptown and need to kill some time between the work day and your event, stop in and grab a happy hour beer from Tank's Tap. It's mostly local beer from breweries like Triple C, NoDa and Birdsong. Make sure to validate your parking for the attached deck. (The machine is on the counter near Bonsai Fusion. You just stick your ticket into the machine, it prints a code on it, and you insert it in the machine at the gate as you leave the deck. The first 90 minutes are free.) Otherwise, take the light rail or ride a B-cycle over. There's a bike share dock outside of the market, and the light rail lets you out right in front.
