| - This was an enjoyable restaurant. The staff is friendly, efficient, and lively. The food was very good. I tried the classic biscuits, the brisket sandwich, the crunchy chicken sandwich, and the peach cobbler, all of which I would order again. (Welllll...I probably wouldn't order the chicken sandwich again, as I'm not a fan of dark-meat chicken and I didn't find the texture to be particularly crunchy. But the rest I really enjoyed.) The fries and salad were both very good as well. The drinks menu has a lot of creative cocktails with neat ice cubes in various configurations, as well as numerous beers, wines, scotches, whiskies, bourbons, etc. Yardbird's decor is cool and rustic, with old photos of country music legends projected on at least one wall.
