  • Growing up my entire life I have always lived by a Starbucks so I never really believed in going to a smaller coffee place especially since I don't even drink coffee! It wasn't until my best friend started going there and making me get her tea did I start wondering about what made this place so special. I took a sip of her South Sea Magic and I instantly fell in love with this place. Unlike most places where the tea taste is expected with the traditional black or green tea with the 1 flavor note or if you're lucky, maybe a blend of a mint for a little bit of a fresh taste. Grouchy John has a more complex blend. I have no idea where they get their batch from but even their Sencha Tea which is a darker green tea that is popular in Japan tastes amazing. Since I live a few blocks away from this location, this is a spot I visit weekly. Great sitting spaces if you want to chill and get some work done. A very unique coffee shop/comic book/library decor. And of course the #1 perk is that the drive thru is open 24/7. I have had a few mishaps coming here but overall service is great and the teas will make me come back every time.
