  • Irritated that after sitting here, mainly in the waiting room, for more than four hours that I'm back. Why is there such a high census in this ER? All of their beds are filled with critical patients and no beds are open? Two couples who were here when we initially departed are also here, waiting. One, was being ushered into the ER Department as we left. The other is still here. Waiting. Nursing staff "older" Patrick and "younger" Patrick were helpful, as was Rowena and Leslee with the Admitting Department. I will say, I'm not happy that we were discharged soon after the injection was given. Had someone told us that we shouldn't lie down right away or had someone evaluated the effects of the medication for at least a half hour It is possible that we wouldn't be sitting here waiting for possibly another four plus hours, awaiting pain relief. This has not been a good experience here. Also, Marcial, "Marc's," tone is a bit curt. I hope that the next time that he sees a patient in a wheelchair he won't assume that either them or their companion will push them to triage. Being here for the second time today, my eyes and ears are wide open, as I wait to see what information, or lack there of, we will receive this visit. There is a lack of privacy in briefing patients in the waiting room. It is not confidential and although it may assist SRD because there are no rooms available in the ER, the facility, the company, needs to do better.
