  • I want to forewarn anyone wishing to proceed with Wyndham Mortgage. From personal experience, they have failed me miserably. I had excellent credit and in perfect position for a refi. What the broker offered me was a list of promises - from terms, closing costs to closing date. What I got instead was increased closing costs, unexpected requests to purchase points, continued delays and numerous false promises. They went so far as to pry into my - and my wife's - marital background. This far exceeds ethical mortgage behavior. They accused me of having a lien on the title of my home which was a complete fabrication. What I realized is they were offering terms they couldn't deliver on and opted to draw out the process in hopes the rates would come to their favor. This is a bait & switch mortgage brokerage that needs to be avoided at all costs or have a lawyer involved throughout the process. They think this is a game.
