| - *****THIS REVIEW IS FOR MYBLEND BY CLARINS SPA ONLY*****
Buffalo natives, my friend and I decided to hit the spa at the Ritz-Carlton for a mini-vacation. We scheduled about two weeks ahead of time for a Saturday afternoon-- she got the hydra facial/foot massage, and I got the precision pedicure. We arrived about three hours ahead of time to enjoy the spa amenities. The valet was convenient as far as parking for the day, since parking in this area is expensive (only $15 for valet). The spa included use of the pool (sea salt), sauna, steam room, therapeutic hot tub, showers, and relaxation rooms. The pool has a nice view of the CN tower. Everything was clean and nice as expected, and there was sufficient staff on hand to stay on top of everything. Complimentary tea, a variety of snacks, infused water, cucumbers and cool towels.
The pedicure left my feet feeling FABULOUS. On top of the usual, the treatment included an exfoliating scrub, paraffin wax, and filing/shaping of the feet. This may sound kind of weird, but I really appreciated that the woman doing my pedicure didn't try to make small talk with me...I just like to be left to my own thoughts. Afterward, the concierge helped us find our restaurant. All of the staff was friendly, polite, and extremely helpful, without exception. I was very pleased with the experience and left feeling like I had gotten my money's worth.
