I give Joes a two star only because I'm not crazy about the service. The elders in my family love joes. As do I for their food, which is consistently very delicious. However, every time I come in the wait time to be seated is a little long (that's important because I always have seniors with me). One visit we were told to seat ourselves and after five minutes asked to move because the section we sat in by the entrance was closed. The atmosphere is classic American comfort, yet the staff does not match the setting. It makes for a bit of a tense and uncomfortable mood. I know it could be overworked staff or low pay so I tend to give restaurant employees the benefit of the doubt. I will continue to come to joes but if the service stays the same I will convince my family it's time to choose a new diner
