| - Well well well, where do I begin. First off, I had an at fault accident back in April of this year and rear ended someone on the freeway and did some pretty heavy damage to my car and I was pretty certain it was going to be totaled. I took my car to service King Service as an approved body shop through my insurance company. I had my car towed there on a Monday and received a call on Thursday that my car was being repaired and they should have it done within the next couple of days. 2 weeks later, for a total of 3 weeks, my car was done and I went and picked it up from Service King. No problem as I had been in contact with Service King and they were calling me every couple of days giving me status updates on the car. I also had a rental car at this time so the length of time they had my car was no big deal. Picked up my car on a Thursday and noticed that it was still making a rather loud noise when I would come to a complete stop and I noticed it after the accident happened as I was able to drive the car home. I called the guy I had been working with, Shawn, and told him what was going on and dropped the car back off on a Monday. Their shop guys weren't able to identify the problem so they had the car taken over to Tempe Toyota for diagnostics. Toyota determined that the transmission was bad from the accident and had it replaced. Car was in the shop another 2 weeks, which was no problem because at this point Service King provided me a rental car, as it was their fault for not fixing the car in the first place. Fast forward to about 2 weeks ago I took my car in for an oil change, which by the way Service King offered to do for me as courtesy for not fixing my car all the way, but they didn't, so I took it in myself and also to get the alignment done. Got the oil change and my mechanic was not able to do the alignment because the frame is bent and the caster (front movement of your tires) is off. My mechanic told me my car needed to go back to the body shop. Again, one more thing that Service King failed to identify. Called Service King that Monday and left a message for Shawn to call me. No call back on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Called and left a message again on Thursday. No call back Thursday, Friday or on Monday. Sent an email to my claims adjuster who happens to have an office inside Service King and asked him to have Shawn call me. My adjuster said he talked to Shawn and he would be giving me a call. NO CALL BACK 2 weeks later. At this point I have taken my car somewhere else to get repaired for the 3rd and hopefully final time. Unfortunately, I feel that Service King has done a disservice to me and to my insurance company because at this point this claim has cost my insurance company over $15k for a car that was worth about $10k + the cost to fix the caster that is in progress right now. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone, be aware!
