I thought Cox had the worst customer service on the planet but Century Link takes the cake. I'm not sure how the company has survived this long. I was SCAMMED. Plain and simple. I was promised a bill of $45. I paid that for a while and then without notice, my bill mysteriously jumped up to $105. If that wasn't bad enough, I contacted "customer service" and that's when the real nightmare began. I used Twitter to reach out to the chat rep. Whoever "assisted" me was either under the influenced, not serious about their job, asleep, or all of the above. I would ask a question and the chat rep would take 10 minutes to answer me. It got to the point when the wait time was 20 minutes after I'd ask a question. All in all, I stayed in that chat for OVER AN HOUR and still didn't get my question answered! I just wanted to know why was I being over charged? Why was I misled? Why can't receive the "price for life" and can I be reimbursed for being over charged without warning. NONE of that was answered and I had to log off . I tried again days later and explained the situation and how horrible my chat experience was. That rep had some communication issues as well but not as bad as the first one. I had to ask my question several times before she would answer my specific question. I'm back at the chat and having yet another horrible time. I give up. If you are thinking about switching to Century Link...DON'T! I'm a real person with a real experience. Look at all these other reviews. We're all telling the truth. This company is the worst.
