Greyhound customer service sucks all the way around, ESPECIALLY at this location. Today my daughter and goddaughter were supposed to travel from Fayetteville to Charlotte on the 1210pm route. Let me first start by saying the bus LEFT BEFORE THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE. None the less, the management in Fayetteville put them in a cab and sent them to Laurinburg to catch the bus from there. The cab company they selected drop the girls off at some corner store to await the bus that was SUPPOSED to be there waiting on them. Well guess what the bus never showed. Now this was the girls first ever bus ride and they had no idea of what to expect. They were told the bus was on the way to sit tight. My god daughters mom and I began making phone calls to customer service as well as the Fayetteville bus station and no one was able to tell us anything other than the girls would be picked up from the stop in Laurinburg. After several unsuccessful attempts to get answers I went to the Charlotte station attempting to get help. I encountered the most absolute rude manager, Ms. Lucas, who showed no empathy and acted rather nonchalantly towards my situation. By this time the girls were already sitting on the side of the road 2 hrs. I apologized to Ms. Lucas from the beginning for my demeanor but I was frustrated and concerned for the girls welfare. She immediately told me to calm down and if I didnt she could tell me no and wouldn't help. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I experienced service so rude. These people have no care for people and assume just because you're travelling by bus you don't deserve respect. I am amazed this station has remained open this long. Ms. Lucas in turn tried to provide excuses for an error they made and pretty much gave me her behind to kiss. All management, drivers and workers need to go thru customer service training 101 and stop acting as though they are too good to do their jobs. In the end, Fayetteville set up a cab to pick the girls up from Laurinburg and transport them to Chatlotte. They were supposed to get here at 355pm but because of the slack service of Greyhound they arrived by car at 730 pm. There first experience was their worst experience and I suggest you choose another means of transportation before giving them your money!
