  • I just finished 7 days in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Barrows Neuro on the 6th floor of St. Joseph's. The staff there was amazing. I cannot give 5 stars because the FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrible. I have never been in a hospital with such horrible food. I was shocked to find out that I was going to be stuck in a place for 7 days and have these problems. I had to have food brought to me on several occasions from family and friends. I have food allergies to dairy and citrus and they kept bringing me both dairy and citrus when I was on the neuro floor! How as I supposed to be able to decipher whether or not I could have these things???? These food service people are going to kill someone!
