  • If I could give a negative half a star, I would..but not an option. I decided to treat myself to a plain manicure & pedicure, this place was the closest to home allowing walk-ins. Upon entering the shop, my first internal thought was are you kidding me? I should have turned around and left, but decided to give them the benefit of a doubt and not judge on appearances... Waiting in the lobby I am looking around at all the junk they have 'decorating' the place and how dilapidated this salon was in general..for the area it was in, it really needed a facelift and a good cleaning. I mean a really good cleaning. If you are looking for a nice ambiance while getting a pampering nail service, go somewhere else... I was told to wait a few minutes while the 4 technicians wrapped up other pedicures. I wanted a plain manicure (no, not fake nails, just a mani) and pedicure, had a little under 2 hours to spare. After waiting about 20 minutes of waiting in the lobby I am called from across the salon by one of the technicians (still completing another persons pedicure), and told to take my chair..of the 4 technicians working there is one male who seems to be 'the one in charge'. I go to my chair, and put my feet in what I find to be ice cold water. After waiting about another 10 minutes..the man in charge comes to start my service. Puts his hand in and says 'oh that's cold! Isnt it cold?!' 'YES!' I say...expecting him to drain and re-fill with hot or at least warm water...but to no avail, he just goes on with the pedicure. Needless to say--overall the pedicure was LESS than impressive. I think I got a 3 minute 'massage' on each foot...At this point, I had zero interest in paying for another sh*tty service so I told him nevermind on the manicure. After being there for over an hour, between waiting, and interruptions during my service, I got polished and headed out. Polish started chipping about 2 days later. I was really disappointed in this place & needless to say I would never visit this shop again. Now one more tip for the owners/management..I am a customer of the tanning salon which is about 2 doors down from the nail salon and I go tanning about 3 times a week. Just about every time I go tan, I see at least 2 or 3 of the nail technicians sitting on the sidewalk outside of this nail salon smoking, in their bare feet. Is that how you want to get customers in the door? As a consumer, and also a past employee of various salons/beauty stores...I can say this place needs a serious wake up call! You do not look professional from the outside OR the inside! Tell your employees to take it out back and clean up your shop!
