| - I have never written a Yelp review for a restaurant, but felt compelled to do so for The Spot. There are so many reasons for witing this review. Let's start with the food. I ordered two chicken sandwiches (one for me and one for my son). My daughter ordered the burger. The chicken sandwich was decent, but nothing to write home about. The burger, on the other hand, was a different story. I knew the burger was not going to be good as soon as the server/cashier brought it to the table (it looked weird). After a few bites, my daughter refused to eat it. She said the meat tasted bad. I decided to order extra fries for her since she wasn't going to eat the burger. When I ordered the fries, the server/cashier asked about our food. I said "the burger does not taste good". The server/cashier's response was "that's because you ordered chicken". For a second there, I thought I was in the Twilight Zone. I know I ordered the chicken sandwich. I know what I ate, but I am now referring to the burger. I know the difference between a burger and a chicken sandwich. I told the server/cashier that my daughter (who ate the burger) did not like it because the meat tasted terrible. Instead of offering to replace the burger, the server/cashier tried to rationalize why the burger tasted bad. Her response was "that's because the beef is pre seasoned". OK! Whatever! I then proceeded to order fries and I paid for them. When I got them, they were coated with so much salt, they were inedible. I placed the fries on the counter and told the server/cashier about the large amount of salt on the fries (you could see the salt piled on the fries). She offered to make more, but never offered to refund my money. At this point, I was DONE! I will NEVER eat here again. Do not waste your time or your money here. I think the customer service was worse than the food.
